I am a Creative Business Specialist, but what does that even mean?!
Well, it's a shorthand title to encapsulate the variety of work I produce and deliver and to say. I am an award-winning creative producer, historian, theatre maker, qualified corporate and executive coach, empowerment speaker and published author of Black Oxford - The Untold Stories of Oxford University's Black Scholars(Signal 2013). The Adventures of a Black Edwardian Intellectual - The Story of James Arthur Harley (Signal 2022).
CREATIVE
I produce creative projects utilising archival or academic information, making projects accessible to the broader public by removing barriers of accessibility or demystifying academic jargon to present and bring untold stories to life via theatre, media, and literature.

As a certified professional corporate and executive coach, I coach ambitious women to elevate their excellence to achieve leadership or entrepreneurial success
Being a historian is like being a specialist detective. I gather historical material from archives, newspapers, and diaries and conduct oral and visual research to assemble the pieces of a jigsaw to slowly reveal and tell a lost or hidden story or present a new or different narrative.
